The Cold Acre Video, Melbourne Christmas Shows, Orchestral Manouevres In The Park23.11.06
So the video for The Cold Acre is made and can be watched now, click "launch broadband video player" on the homepage here, then scroll down to select it. It was made by our friends Nice Trees who made Little Wonder, The Vineyard and Once Crowded Hour and was shot in a freezing, eerie burnt out pine plantation. It's not un-humourous, we think. It's not on the TV shows yet so this is a sneak preview, and it's in its full album-length glory.
What else? The Melbourne Christmas shows will be fun, they are at The Prince in St Kilda, 20 and 21 December. For tickets and details go to Tour Diary on the Home page or click here. If you go you must get there in time to see Black Cab (Wed) and Ned Collette (Thur).
And... The Western Australian Symphony Orchestra has invited us to play with them in Perth in February - and yes we'll be playing our songs, with new arrangements by the orchestra. Ambitious; and could be spectacular either way. Rehearsals start soon and things are looking good so if you feel experiencing something like that you should think about being in Perth at Kings Park on February 24. Kings Park Re-arranger. Once in A Lifetime. Ashes to Ashes. Apart from that we are playing a string of summer festivals over the next month, then the day after Christmas on Network Ten nationally there's a live performance we recorded a month or so ago... it's called Live At The Chapel and it goes for about 30 minutes in the evening of December 12. So there you go. Hope everything is good at your end. [ Back ] |
