After spending most of the year learning Flash animation in various Work For The Dole schemes, getting bashed, making other people's records, and comprehensively not appearing at the ARIA's, Augie March come together for a couple of special Christmas shows at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne.
They haven't played for ages due to a combination of overseas touring, difficult third-album recording and the new terror laws. But you will soon be able to once again experience the casual charm, tightrope-tension and modern joy that is Augie March live.
Tunes from the soon-to-be-released third album will be played way better than any other band could ever play them and support will come from Grand Salvo (Wed) and The Crayon Fields (Thurs).
